A Message from Our Athletic Director
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making the CAVC 2024 Volleyball Tournament a resounding success. Special thanks to our dedicated coaches and talented players for their hard work and sportsmanship, and to the parents and the Parent School Group for their unwavering support and enthusiasm. I also commend our National Honor Society members for their help selling snacks throughout the tournament and for all the student and parent fans who came out to cheer both here and at Haileybury Saturday.
Your combined efforts not only made this event possible but also memorable. It’s teamwork like this that enriches our community and uplifts our athletic spirit. Thank you all for your contributions!

Your support and contributions mean the world to us, and we couldn't do it without you. This breakfast is open to all our parents, a small gesture of our immense appreciation for everything you do. Join us for a morning filled with good food, warm conversations, and a chance to connect. Let's celebrate the wonderful community we've built together. We can't wait to see you there and share our gratitude in person!
Intent vs Impact
One of our school's Professional Learning Community (PLC) focused recently conducted a campaign aimed at promoting student well-being by researching important topics and posting informative flyers around the school. This initiative encourages both staff and students to engage with and understand various aspects of wellness. The most recent topic, "Intent versus Impact," highlighted the importance of recognizing how our actions, regardless of our intentions, can have significant effects on others. This topic was chosen to foster a more empathetic and considerate school environment. The flyer below provides detailed insights and examples to help students grasp this critical concept.

21st Century Skills
At QSI International School of Astana, we regard creativity as an indispensable skill for the 21st century, crucial both for personal development and societal advancement. Creativity is about thinking new ideas, imagining possibilities, and innovating solutions. In our interconnected world, being able to think creatively leads to technological advancements, artistic expressions, and problem-solving strategies that are novel and effective. That’s why we integrate creativity into our projects, lessons, and individual activities. We encourage our students to explore their imaginations, embrace originality, and express themselves in unique ways. Developing these skills prepares our students not only for future career paths but also to make meaningful contributions to their communities. Together, we're nurturing a culture where visionary ideas flourish and students are empowered to shape the future.
