Message from the Director of Instruction
Hello QSI Family,
I hope everyone had a joyful Nauryz celebration and a restful, rejuvenating Spring Break! The snow is (finally!) starting to melt, and it feels like the city is waking up again — a welcome shift into the energy of spring.
Before the break, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Croatia for the CEESA (Central and Eastern European Schools Association) Conference. Our focus was on the importance of acceptance, fairness, and belonging within schools — and how we can continue to create safe, inclusive spaces for both students and staff. I returned with new ideas, meaningful questions, and a deeper appreciation for what we have here in Astana, along with a renewed drive to keep growing.
As we dive into this next chapter of the school year, I’m carrying forward the spirit of Nauryz — a time of fresh starts, unity, and reflection. Let’s keep that momentum going as we continue learning and growing together.
